The heaviest silk quality in Jim Thompson’s offering is ‘Marla’, which is woven with a six-ply chunky silk weft that is spun from the outer part of the silk cocoon. Updated from previous constructions, Marla is now softened to enable it to drape effortlessly and also be suitable for light upholstery and soft furnishings. The Marla Collection offers an impressive selection of 43 colours; including a complete selection of classic colors that is combined with a wide range of neutrals and brand new sophisticated shades, like Mink, Azure, and Crimson.
