MALACHITE WEAVE

REF: JT013847004 - EMERALD

Tony Duquette considered malachite as a talisman, a stone with magical properties. He also considered the color malachite green to be his fetish color. In the book ‘Tony Duquette Jewelry’, it is revealed that it wasn’t so much the actual semi-precious stone that he valued, but instead it was the variegated pattern that he loved and applied to furniture, fabrics and even the vast floor of his studio, which was rendered to look like malachite. Our new ‘Malachite Weave’ features the classic swirling pattern woven in a fine Italian cotton blend that works beautifully for both upholstery and curtains. The colors are gemstone inspired, and naturally include a deep malachite green shade.
