This fanciful print is derived from an antique Southeast Asian antique batik cotton textile. The decoratively patterned figures of monkeys, dragons, horses and fanciful birds are rendered with the look of wood block wax resist printing against a textured background. The tightly woven cotton ground makes it suitable for a wide range of uses, adding a touch of whimsy to a room as upholstery, curtains or pillows.
