Lamphun is an interpretation of traditional silk Thai matmi or weft ikat motifs, using warp printing on fine cotton and weaving with linen for a natural, textured look. The decorative pattern’s softly blurred edges are created by hand printing and hand weaving, resulting in an authentically crafted textile that features beautiful subtle variations of shade and patterning. The color palette includes classic Lan Na textile-inspired blacks, reds and golds, as well as softer contemporary shades.
