Huron

Named by the French after the Huron tribe of American Indians who resided in the region, this Great Lake borders on Michigan and Canada. Old photographs show members of the tribe dressed in fabrics similar to this durable linen-jute blend that comes in ten colorways. Here the weave is reminiscent of the classic Jim Thompson “Mekong” fabric, albeit a lighter weight and the jute content giving a new rustic feel.
