Comprises three different layouts and scales in a 100% cotton pile velvet. The colour palette works in sync with all previous collections and the soft casual pile just looks better and better the more it is used. Whilst the fabric makes for excellent upholstery, with a Martindale abrasion test of 50,000 turns, it would also look handsome as curtains.

For our new collection Richard Smith revisits the well loved textile crafts, inspiring colour palettes and romanticism of India. Colourful prints are augmented by embroideries, a sumptuous damask andna small scale geometric weave - all taken from Richard's original artwork - in a rich, jewel-like colour palette.
For September 2016, Richard Smith has looked at the rich textile heritage of Japan. Obi, the sash used in traditional dress, often has an element of “mix and match”. Origami suggests a layering of elements through folding. The combination of these two captures the spirit of this exciting new collection.
An enticing collection of different textures that work beautifully with the Pageant collections of fabrics and wallpapers. This group of woven has a sophisticated colour palette inspired by natural dyes and a variety of structures that play off one another to give a layered look.
The no.9 collection for Spring 2016, designed by Richard Smith, offers a series of embroideries, prints, decorative weaves and textured upholsteries. One after another, these fabrics impress with striking, fresh colour, innovative constructions, and sophisticated handle.
