Dreams by David Rockwell
In Dreams, David Rockwell’s second collaboration with Jim Thompson, he explores the world of dreams and dreamscapes for design inspiration. The collection’s thirteen textile patterns have an illusive, shadowy quality, evocative of nature, the animal world and exotic places, but just out of the grasp of comprehension, as images often appear in a dream-like state.
Jim Thompson has long been recognized for creating beautiful hand-crafted product. This latest wallcovering collection focuses on our love of all things made by hand, and introduces hand woven sisal grasscloths to expand the range of the brand’s artisanal offerings.
Comprises three different layouts and scales in a 100% cotton pile velvet. The colour palette works in sync with all previous collections and the soft casual pile just looks better and better the more it is used. Whilst the fabric makes for excellent upholstery, with a Martindale abrasion test of 50,000 turns, it would also look handsome as curtains.
Takes The Stage
No.9 Takes The Stage is an exciting collection of wallpaper panels. Inspired by the loose painting of theatrical backdrops, Richard Smith hand painted each one to create very different moods. They work equally well enhancing existing architectural features in an older property as they would making a statement in a plainer space.
